Founder & Chief Nutrition Educator
Márta founded Pure Nutrition Academy with a vision to make nutritional education accessible to everyone. With 15 years of experience in nutrition science and culinary arts, she combines rigorous research with practical cooking wisdom. Her passion for plant-based whole foods and fermentation techniques inspires students worldwide.
János Szabó
Culinary Technique Specialist
János brings 20 years of professional kitchen experience to our courses. His expertise spans knife skills, heat management, and traditional cooking methods from Central Europe and beyond. He's passionate about showing students how proper technique transforms simple ingredients into extraordinary meals.
Dr. Éva Molnár
Nutritional Science Advisor

Our Story
Pure Nutrition Academy began with a simple observation: many people want to eat better, but they lack practical knowledge about how to prepare whole foods effectively. In kitchens across Hungary and beyond, home cooks struggled with questions that shouldn't require a professional culinary degree to answer. How do you preserve nutrients while cooking? What's the difference between steaming and boiling? How do you know when food is properly cooked?
Founder Márta Kovács, a nutritionist with deep training in both food science and traditional cooking, recognized an opportunity. She began hosting small kitchen workshops, teaching friends and colleagues the techniques she'd learned. The response was overwhelming. People weren't just learning skills—they were building confidence and discovering joy in cooking with whole foods.
What started as kitchen gatherings evolved into a structured educational program. Márta partnered with János, a seasoned professional chef, to systematize the techniques and ensure they were taught with both scientific rigor and practical clarity. They brought in Dr. Molnár to ground the nutritional aspects in current research, and Zsofia to nurture the growing community of students.
Today, Pure Nutrition Academy serves students across multiple countries, all united by curiosity about whole food cooking. We remain grounded in our original mission: making nutritional education accessible, practical, and rooted in real science. Every course reflects our commitment to evidence-based teaching, community support, and the belief that proper technique truly does transform both nutrition and enjoyment of food.
